Sense
Two connected lights convey a sense of presence.
A pair of lamps are connected in such a way that each light turns on when somebody is close to the other.
6th sense is a sculptural light that can also be used as a medium of communication. Two lamps are connected and placed at different sites, e.g. in the homes of two friends or relatives.
Each lamp is equipped with presence sensors and communications equipment that allow the lamp to notice the presence of a person in the room, and switch the other light on or off. If your light switches on, it means that your friend "is there" - that is, close to the other light. In this way a sense of presence can be conveyed in a subtle way regardless of geographic distance.
