brainball | go to project

Brainball is a two-player game where the goal is to be considerably more relaxed than the opponent. The small ball on the table is controlled by the players' brainwaves, where calm or stress will affect the game directly. The player who is more passive will see the ball darting towards the opponent's goal and rest assured of winning.

brainbar | go to project

Brainbar is a mechanical bar that mixes drinks adapted to the visitor's brainwaves. The bar reads the brain frequencies that represent levels of stress and calm. Depending on how the bar is tuned it will then mix a drink to enhance or suppress the guest's feelings.

lords of legacy | go to project

The computer is increasingly becoming the obvious inheritor of the human mind. Smell, sense, sight and hearing and other parts of the human sensory register become simulated. The artistic project Lords of Legacy shows how the computer once and for all has moved out of its plastic box and infiltrates our world using its new inherited properties.

Below are press images from lords of legacy. There is a special page to download the catalogue as PDFs.

responsive field of lattice archipelogics | go to project

The responsive field - designed by the smart studio working together with servo - is an interactive audiovisual environment. Moving through the physical space will affect digital " agents" which exist in a hybrid physical/immaterial world. The movement of the agents is rendered using lights in the modules and a 3D sound installation.
